Oh My Darling

Sometimes, when you see a need for something, the best way to fill it is to do it yourself. That’s just what Alexandria residents Jennifer Peterson and Katie Hilderbrand have done with their new children’s clothing line, Oh My Darling Designs.
The friends were looking for quality clothing that dressed their young children nicely without costing a fortune. As Katie describes it, “the clothes I want to see my children in, that they can put away and have my grandchildren wear one day.” Hence the birth of their company, which offers hand-made clothing, much of it smocked by hand, that they design themselves.
The clothing is adorable, and really does provide you with options from everyday to Christmas Eve, and with every piece under $65, you won’t break the bank doing so. There are lots of options for matching siblings, and even some precious sweaters and fleece pull-overs.
You can check out Oh My Darling’s entire line on their website. Look for them in person at area trunk shows, and at local boutiques, like Del Ray’s The Purple Goose.
