If you want to know what the current trend is in home decor look no further than Random Harvest. They sell a combination of old and new furniture from around the world from elegant and classic to rustic styles. Their upholstered furniture is ready to be customized.

My favorite furniture has come from this store. I’ve been here too many times to count and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a piece that I wouldn’t love to have. Their pieces are high quality and unique.  You won’t find similar items at Pottery Barn. They also sell a wide variety of accessories from mirrors to art work and lamps.  They also have stores in Arlington, Bethesda and Georgetown but I’ve found the Old Town location to be the best. Also if you’re really in the decorating mood you can stop by Calico Corners next door and browse their selection of home fabrics.

    Jessica, how long have you been doing this blog? What a great idea! Since we moved up near the church last week I’ve been a little overwhelmed by moving boxes. While unpacking the house I am enjoying some daydreaming about decor in a house with some personality! I forgot all about Random Harvest! I also love the European Furnishings store. We used to have one near our house in Germany, I was shocked when one opened on King St! Thanks to you I’m now planning a stroll along King St as my reward for some more empty moving boxes! Keep up the good work!
