The Board of Lady Managers of Inova Alexandria Hospital will host its annual Fashion Show, Luncheon and Silent Auction on Friday, November 11 (Veterans Day), at the Hilton Mark Center Alexandria at Seminary Road and North Beauregard Street. Doors will open at 10:30 for the Silent Auction; the luncheon begins at 12:00, followed by the Fashion Show. All proceeds go to Inova Alexandria Hospital.

Repeating the excitement of last year’s Fashion Show, Christine Candio, CEO of Inova Alexandria Hospital, has recruited physicians, nurses and staff, both men and women, from the Hospital to model fashions from Lord & Taylor of Fair Oaks Mall. During the luncheon, some of our lucky guests will win fabulous Door Prizes.
A new plan to “Buy It Now and Stop the Bidding” will add some fun to the Silent Auction. We can accept cash and checks only. Sorry, no credit cards.
Our Raffle this year offers three great prizes:
Queen-size Quilt hand-stitched in fall colors donated by Mary Anderson, Alexandria’s “Quilter Mom”;
Hilton Alexandria Mark Center Weekend Get-away donated by the Hotel
“Bagels-for-a-Year” package from the Duke Street Panera Bread store.
Raffle tickets are $5.00 for one; or $10.00 for three. The drawing will take place at the luncheon on November 11. Winners do not need to be present.
It is very important to encourage using carpools. This year the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center is charging a fee of $7.00 for garage parking. However, we have decided this year that drivers may request a BLM voucher for free parking by presenting their parking ticket at the BLM registration desk. Carpooling will cut down on our costs.
