Black Friday @ The Boutiques

Never have I gotten up at the crack of dawn to go shopping on Black Friday. The big box madness is something I’d prefer to stay far far away from.

I would never have considered doing something like this until I found out about the Old Town Boutique District’s Black Friday Shopping event . These shops are offering 30% off from 6-8 am, 20% off from 8-10 and 10% off all day.

Thirty-percent is pretty significant, especially if there is that cocktail dress or beautiful pair of boots you have been eyeing. Not only is this a unique opportunity to take advantage of the special sales but its a great way to knock out your holiday shopping quickly and avoid the crowds at the mall.

This year I have challenged myself to buy all of my holiday gifts and clothing at LOCAL businesses.
