A growing organization devoted to helping creative immigrant women has just moved to Old Town.
Empowered Women International focuses on providing immigrant, refugee, and low-income women who have basic artisan business ideas, with a 4-month intensive business and entrepreneurship course to move their idea into reality. These classes cover everything from resume writing to giving a business pitch. They are later followed-up with additional mentor support and resources to help them succeed.
