When I was driving down Mt. Vernon Avenue the other day and I noticed that a posh little designer consignment bridal boutique called Fabulous Frocks
Owner Linda Fairall is lovely and when I met her she was getting ready for the big grand opening. She will sell high-end designer gowns and designer bridesmaid dresses.
Some of the designers include Monique Lhuillier, Vera Wang, Carolina Herrera, Christos, Rivini, Amsale, Melissa Sweet, Claire Pettibone, Modern, Trousseau, Ulla-Maija, Oscar De La Renta, Anne Barge, Ines DiSanto and Elizabeth Fillmore.
Not only is Fabulous Frocks an opportunity to find a deal on a designer gown for the bride to be but its a great way to off set some of the wedding expenditures for a recent bride. Most of us get married and then keep our gown in a box for 50 years never to be worn again. What a sensible idea to consign your gown.
